Filming with Animals - Pro Action Studio

Have you ever wanted to film or take a picture of your pet but can’t seem to get their attention?Filming with an animal can be a struggle at times because they won’t always cooperate. Whether they want to just play around or go for a walk, it is very hard to put an animal under control. Animals are great and using them in a safe and good way can really help take your production to the next level!

Distracting the Animal

The best way you can try and get the animals attention is by distracting them. There are many different ways you can distract an animal. For example, by making a sound you can get the animals attention for a decent amount of time. Also you can get a toy they like to play with and try to get their attention that way. If the animal you are trying to work with has a human that they admire, it would be easier to get their attention by using the person.

What about food?

Food can also be a great distraction for animals. In order to keep an animal in one position you can use a type of food they like to keep them in that place. For example, many dogs love peanut butter and if you need a dog in a certain position you can take the peanut butter and have the dog eat it. This can also work for treats. If a dog or cat has a certain reaction to treats they would be able to listen better.
